About Justin:

Justin is a senior Media Studies major at Auburn University. They specialize in video editing and media production. Along with photography and videography skills, they have experience in and enjoy working with Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, and Audition. They are also familiar with Photoshop and Illustrator. Their hobbies include writing and playing guitar. They live in Jacksonville, FL with their husband and their dog.

Selected Works:

A montage filmed for Film Editing class to demonstrate montage editing as well as emotional editing, as well as proficiency with digital filmmaking. Starring Bobbie Lolwing and Clinton Miller.

Scene recreation from "It Follows" by David Robert Mitchell. This scene recreation was filmed for Justin's Intro to Filmmaking class. This scene demonstrates technical adeptness in filming as well as proficiency with editing video in Adobe Premier Pro.

This short film, titled "The Invitation," was Justin's final project for Intro to Filmmaking. This film once again demonstrates technical adeptness with digital filmmaking as well as slightly more technical editing in Adobe Premier Pro, including color grading and masking.

This title sequence, created for Justin's Sequence Design class, demonstrates the ability to edit together and layer assets in Adobe After Effects, and also demonstrates proficiency with masking and image plates.

This short title sequence animation was created as an assignment for Sequence Design to demonstrate 2D and 3D animation principles and keyframing in Adobe After Affects utilizing Adobe Illustrator assets.

Justin's final project for Sequence Design, the prompt of which was to design a title sequence for a book series using Adobe After Effects. This project demonstrates proficiency with masking and animating in both 2D and 3D with After Affects, as well as proficiency with utilizing Adobe Illustrator assets.

A short film collaboration with fellow student Sean Erwin entitled “Haunted Hall.” This project, filmed for Film Editing class, demonstrates “creative geography,” the ability to edit together unrelated locations seamlessly.
